As a Machine Learning Manager, you’ll be a key part of instilling the Avature culture of self-determination and constant improvement in your team and across the development area. Working in a dual-leadership model together with a technical leader, you’ll be in charge of motivating team members to reach both their own professional goals and the team’s objectives.

Your challenges and objectives:

  • Nurture Avaturian well-being and growth by motivating and guiding, setting clear expectations, promoting bonding, teamwork, and a healthy work environment.
  • Understand and comply with company policies and excellence standards, and constantly work toward your team’s compliance.
  • Collaborate with senior management and your team to define and carry out improvements to both the Avature team and product.
  • Maintaining effective information flow within the team and with other stakeholders, ensuring everyone has access to relevant information.

Your day-to-day activities:

  • Build alignment between team members and other teams.
  • Support and develop team members by providing feedback, mentoring, and coaching.
  • Maintain an open dialogue with your team, encouraging them to share ideas, questions, and concerns.
  • Organize and coordinate day-to-day work in a clear manner to maximize efficiency.
  • Be involved in recruiting, helping the Talent Acquisition team find new Avaturians.
  • Be profoundly involved in new members’ onboarding process.
  • Assess performance.

About you:

  • Excellent communication, teamwork, and organizational skills.
  • Experience managing technical teams.
  • Attentive, ready to solve unexpected issues, ability to prioritize.
  • Background in Computer Science or technical proficiency in development is a plus.
  • Knowledge of Machine Learning, Deep Learning, Large Language Models (LLMs) or Generative AI is a plus.
  • Resilience and empathy.
  • Fluent in English.
