Remote position available for candidates based in La Plata, Bahía Blanca, CABA, Córdoba, Rosario, or Mendoza.

We believe that quality assurance is crucial to creating a great product, that’s why QA and development are completely integrated at Avature. Our QA Engineers are actively involved in every step of the development process, from feature planning to release, working hand-in-hand with the product and development teams.

We are looking for junior engineers who are starting their careers in QA, with a solid technical foundation and an interest in software quality and automation. This role is ideal for curious and motivated individuals with strong analytical thinking, who already have basic programming knowledge and want to apply it in a QA context while growing into automation and advanced testing practices over time.

Your challenges and objectives:

• Gain a full understanding of product specifications.
• Obtain thorough knowledge of our complex and highly configurable platform.
• Work hand-in-hand with all company teams, understanding their different needs.
• Add value to the product life cycle from step one.
• Deliver a high-quality product.
• Continuously develop your manual testing skills and progressively build hands-on experience in test automation, scripting, and testing tools.

Your day-to-day activities:

• Do integral testing (features, bug fixes, and refactors).
• Receive bug reports from customer-facing teams, analyze them, find steps to reproduce them, and route them to development.
• Gradually get involved in test automation tasks with guidance from the team.
• Provide feedback on requirement specs.

About you:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field (advanced stage or completed)
• At least 1 year of experience in QA or related roles (internships count)
• Familiarity with test automation tools or frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Cypress, Playwright) is a plus.
• Curious and analytical mindset with strong attention to detail.
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Knowledge of at least one programming language (e.g., Python, C#, Java, or JavaScript).
• Familiarity with Linux environments.
• Upper-intermediate English level (B2 or higher).
