Remote position available for candidates based in La Plata, Bahía Blanca, CABA, Córdoba, Rosario, or Mendoza.

The growth of our company has resulted in us tackling new and greater challenges, requiring our organization and infrastructure to comply with certifications,  and controls of ever-increasing levels, compliance, and regulatory standards. As Risk Analyst, you’ll play a key role in this evolution, using your expertise to ensure the optimal implementation and execution of these controls.

Your challenges and objectives:

• Maintain our controls efficient and relevant, and aligned with evolving security and compliance standards.
• Find opportunities for improvement in our active controls across existing controls, processes, and procedures.
• Become a source of expertise on risk and security matters.
• Identify security gaps and support the implementation of appropriate mitigations.
• Stay informed on emerging threats, vulnerabilities, and regulatory changes to proactively identify to provide support in identifying new potential risks.
• Contribute to the ongoing maturity of Avature’s risk management and compliance programs

Your day-to-day activities:

• Respond to risk and security queries from customers, prospects, and internal teams.
• Interact with Avature teams to gather information and execute controls.
• Perform security and risk analysis across systems, processes, and third-party vendors.
• Research new vulnerabilities as they are uncovered and provide guidance on urgency, best practices, and mitigation techniques.
• Conduct vendor security assessments and identify risks related to third-party partnerships.
• Provide operational support to risk and compliance-related projects.

About you:

• Knowledge of information systems in organizations.
• Written and oral English fluency.
• Great communicational and teamwork skills.
• Proactive, diligent, organized, and autonomous.
• A degree in information systems or similar is a plus.
• IT security certification is a plus.
• Understanding of compliance and regulatory frameworks (e.g., NIST; government compliance; familiarity with emerging regulations is a plus)
