When creating a business-driven product within a dynamic industry, excellence in customer relationship management is fundamental. Our Account Executives are focused on owning strategic expansion within existing accounts, including net new solutions, significant commercial uplift, major user growth, and multi-market expansion.

This is a commercial role focused on driving revenue through upselling and expansion, where you will identify and qualify new opportunities, lead strategic conversations with VP and C-level stakeholders, and build long-term growth plans that align to business and talent priorities.

They combine a strong understanding of our platform’s capabilities with a clear view of each customer’s goals, owning retention, expansion, and advocacy for a focused book of strategic customers. By offering strategic guidance and aligning platform use with business priorities, they help customers make the most out of their investment in Avature.

Your challenges and objectives:

  • You’ll be a key driver of Avature’s future growth, shaping how our largest customers evolve and scale with us.
  • You’ll lead your own opportunities, operating with a strong commercial mindset and taking ownership of expansion outcomes.
  • You’ll act as a trusted partner in executive conversations, guiding customers through medium and long-term planning aligned with their business objectives.

Your day-to-day activities:

  • Lead strategic discovery to understand future goals and uncover untapped opportunities, translating them into actionable Avature-driven initiatives.
  • Develop and maintain 12–24 month success and growth plans, taking ownership of expansion efforts across major platform areas, new regions, or significant seat increases.
  • Identify and qualify upsell and cross-sell opportunities with meaningful commercial impact, collaborating with Sales to build strong business cases.
  • Progress high-value opportunities while supporting AMs with incremental feature needs within the customer portfolio, clearly differentiating between operational support and expansion initiatives.
  • Deliver tailored briefings and demos for senior leadership, aligning Avature’s capabilities with each customer’s strategic direction.
  • Act as a strategic partner by elevating conversations toward long-term platform outcomes and transformation initiatives, rather than isolated, point-in-time requests.
  • Own strategic expansion by proactively spotting growth levers across the customer lifecycle, driving initiatives that strengthen long-term adoption and maximize platform value.

About you:

Minimum Qualifications: 

  • Fluent in English, with excellent verbal and written communication skills. 
  • Strong analytical mindset, with the ability to see the bigger picture, matching specific Avature solutions to each client’s business objectives.
  • Independent and self-motivated, capable of leading complex initiatives and navigating ambiguity.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple initiatives in parallel.
  • Capable of grasping and explaining technical concepts in clear, business-oriented terms.
  • Comfortable engaging with both technical users and senior stakeholders.
  • Experience operating in commercial or sales-driven environments, with exposure to managing opportunities and driving expansion within accounts.
  • Willingness to travel to meet customers and support strategic engagements.

Preferred Qualifications:
 

  • Previous experience working with large multinational companies, navigating complex and global stakeholder maps.
  • Previous experience in high-growth SaaS companies will be highly valued.
  • Familiarity with HR-tech solutions such as ATS, HCM, and functional HR platforms (e.g., talent acquisition, talent management, learning).
  • Fluency in AI tools and analytics models—such as Gen-AI copilots and prompt engineering—to accelerate day-to-day work, support decision-making, and enhance customer enablement.
  • Familiarity with structured sales approaches or methodologies will be considered a plus.
