As a Content Marketing Team Leader, you will guide a multidisciplinary group of content producers, ensuring strategic alignment, creative excellence, and smooth cross-functional collaboration. You will oversee the end-to-end production of impactful content, acting as a strategic thinker, a mentor, a quality gatekeeper, and a relationship builder with both internal and external stakeholders.

Your challenges and objectives:

  • Lead a team responsible for producing all external marketing content with consistent quality, messaging, and brand voice.
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously without losing focus or momentum.
  • Ensure strong cross-functional alignment by bringing different departments, stakeholders, and initiatives toward shared objectives.
  • Think strategically and creatively to define and refine Avature’s content strategy, even in ambiguous or rapidly changing scenarios.
  • Build strong relationships with partners, clients, and stakeholders across all levels of the organization, representing the Content Marketing function confidently.
  • Demonstrate emotional resilience and the ability to handle difficult conversations.
  • Embrace change and drive it forward—particularly regarding new technologies such as AI - bringing curiosity, rapid learning, and adaptability to the role.
  • Act as the final quality gatekeeper, ensuring accuracy, clarity, and brand consistency across all content, with exceptional attention to detail and editorial rigor.
  • Foster an environment of trust and rapport, supporting team collaboration and individual development.

Your day-to-day activities:

People Leadership Activities:

  • Oversee workload distribution and resource allocation.
  • Onboard, train, and coach team members.
  • Foster people development and guide team effectiveness.
  • Participate in talent acquisition processes for the team.
  • Review and refine content produced by the team, ensuring top-tier writing standards and strong storytelling.

Content Marketing Activities:

  • Oversee the full content production pipeline and ensure the delivery of high-quality materials across formats (articles, customer stories, videos, webinars, infographics, etc.).
  • Shape narratives by identifying key messages and transforming insights from customers, partners, and internal experts into compelling content.
  • Manage cross-functional projects and facilitate alignment to keep all contributors moving in the same direction.
  • Prioritize and allocate work effectively, balancing multiple deadlines and coordinating resources.
  • Champion innovation in content formats, experimentation, and the use of emerging technologies.
  • Monitor performance and contribute to the long-term content strategy to strengthen Avature’s positioning.
  • Take an active role in shaping the #AvatureUpfront agendas, working directly with customers on their presentations, suggesting new formats and bringing them to life, and working with events to effectively communicate event value to invitees.
  • Attend #AvatureUpfront and own the creation of customer story videos and other audiovisual content. 
  • Network with customers to make connections for future speaking engagements and uncover strong stories.

About you:

  • Proven experience managing and producing external marketing content with consistent quality, messaging, and brand voice. 
  • Strong leadership skills, with experience managing and developing a team of Content professionals.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities—you know how to engage speakers, collaborate with senior stakeholders, and build lasting vendor relationships.
  • Proficient in English.
  • Strategic mindset paired with creativity: able to align content with business goals while keeping experiences innovative and on-trend.
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented, ensuring flawless execution across multiple moving parts.
