Proposal writers are an essential part of the Avature sales process. They prepare high-quality proposals to present our solutions and services to potential customers, producing what we call "the first deliverable"—that critical first impression that communicates our value proposition, capability, and professionalism. As a proposal writer you will use your expansive knowledge base and creativity when explaining the continuously evolving Avature solutions, our selling points, and how we achieve the business objectives that prospects can expect to meet with our platform.

Your challenges and objectives:

  • Deliver impressive, high-quality proposals that are clear, concise, and easy to read.
  • Develop a broad understanding of Avature’s business end-to-end, including our products, services and support, as well as commercial and technical elements.
  • Communicate effectively and with an eye to educate, turning complicated ideas into concise content that people with little previous knowledge can understand.
  • Work responsibly within rules of engagement, particularly on work for government, meeting all deliverables and requested format/protocols.

Your day-to-day activities:

  • Understand a prospect’s needs and objectives, positioning our solutions and services to explain how we can best meet them.
  • Create business proposals and RFP responses according to their requirements.
  • Leverage existing materials and tools, as well as create new content to prepare your proposal.
  • Engage with different teams (Finance, Legal, Product, Security) to gather information to respond to requests.

About you:

  • Experience in writing proposals for federal customers.
  • Knowledge in Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation.
  • Excellent English writing skills and reading comprehension. German or French is a plus.
  • Organized and goal-oriented.
  • Ability to perform thorough research and gather information from multiple sources.
  • Comfortable working with tight deadlines.
  • Permanent residency in the United States.
