Maintaining it requires knowledge of a variety of technologies, following a sound set of engineering principles, and solid analytical skills. Reliability Engineers are fundamental in that process, as they provide guidance, technical know-how, and a critical mindset to maintain and improve service reliability through the entire lifecycle of our product.

Your challenges and objectives:

  • Add value to our services by participating in all phases of their lifecycle: inception and design, deployment, operation, and refinement, with an eye toward improved reliability.
  • Define service level objectives and work to achieve them.
  • Keep our systems scalable through automation.
  • Ensure quick response to incidents that affect the service you maintain by being on-call.

Your day-to-day activities:

  • Proactively detect and solve incidents.
  • Create and review incident reports.
  • Proactive capacity planning.
  • Build and maintain service observability, as well as alarms and their runbooks.

About you:

  • Work experience in production environments and software development.
  • Analytical troubleshooting skills.
  • Strong background in Linux, distributed-systems, monitoring and infrastructure automation.
  • Fluency in one backend programming language (Java, PHP, Python, Go).
  • Experience with a virtualization platform (Kubernetes, OpenStack, AWS, Azure, or VMWare) and IaC tools (Terraform, Ansible, Chef, Puppet).
