Reporting Financial Analyst

As our company grows, our financial operations become more sophisticated and so do the analytics required to obtain the most relevant information to support them. For that purpose, you’ll join a team of finance analytics experts to carry out a wide variety of projects and asses each for specific data and process needs. Within, you’ll have the opportunity to propose new ways to analyze and structure our data, and be a source of expertise in financial matters within Avature.

Your challenges and objectives:
  • Understand the needs of a variety of finance projects and apply best practices accordingly.
  • Become familiarized with internal policies and technologies, including infrastructure, applications, data management, and security, to assist internal clients.
  • Identify opportunities for improvement in our processes.
  • Be a source of expertise on financial matters for other Avature teams.

Your day-to-day activities:
  • Design finance application configurations to implement new procedures and automate or improve existing ones.
  • Build internal reports based on the data obtained from those applications.
  • Participate in regular discussions to improve our processes and adapt them to audit requirements.
  • Update audit procedures and internal documentation.

About you:
  • Experience acquiring, validating, storing, protecting, and processing data to ensure accessibility and reliability.
  • Adaptable and with excellent organizational skills.
  • Proactive, diligent, and autonomous.
  • Fluent in English.
  • Currently studying or recently graduated in information systems or similar.
  • Excel and SQL knowledge are valued.
