Proposal writers are an essential part of the Avature sales process. They prepare high quality and complete proposals to position our solutions and services to potential customers, producing what we call “the first deliverable”—that critical first impression that communicates our value proposition, capability, and professionalism.

As a Proposal writer you’ll have the opportunity to be creative when explaining the ever-improving Avature solutions, our selling points, and how we meet the business objectives that prospects can expect to fulfill with our platform.

Your challenges and objectives:
  • Communicate clearly, sometimes turning complicated ideas into concise content that people with little previous knowledge can understand.
  • Work responsibly within rules of engagement, particularly on work for government, meeting all deliverables and requested format/protocols.
  • Deliver high quality proposals that impress, and are clear, concise, and easy to read.
  • Develop a broad understanding of Avature’s business end-to-end, including our products, services and support, as well as commercial and technical elements. 

Your day-to-day activities:

  • Understand a prospect’s needs and objectives, positioning our solutions and services to explain how we best meet them.
  • Plan the creation of business proposals and RFP responses according to their requirements.
  • Leverage existing materials and tools, as well as create new content to prepare your proposal.
  • Engage with different teams (Finance, Legal, Product, Security) to gather information to respond to requests.

About you:
  • Excellent English writing skills and reading comprehension.
  • Organized and goal-oriented.
  • Thorough to investigate and get information together.
  • Capable of working with tight deadlines. 
  • An advanced level of German and/or French is appreciated.
