Marketing Events Manager

In the HR Technology industry, events are the most essential way to meet leads and nurture relationships with both prospects and customers.  At the core of our marketing strategy, directly linked to the company’s business plan, events are executed at a global scale with an audience of market leader from diverse industries. 
Our Events manager leads the team that makes this happen, and works towards maximizing the effects of our marketing strategy through organizing and participating in sophisticated word-class events. 

Your challenges and objectives:
  • Gain a profound understanding of our company, software and the industries we are in (HR and Technology)
  • Work with C-Level and the rest of the Marketing area in brand positioning strategy and tactics. 
  • Comprehend the specific challenges of working with a global brand with multicultural audiences. 
  • Scale our events operation considering events must be cost effective and of impeccable quality standards.
  • Maximize brand exposure in third party events with existing budget, making sure lead generation is at its best. 
  • Work towards positioning our own customers as market leaders, as this advocates for our software. 
  • Be a leader for the Events team, developing their skills and guiding them in their professional careers. 

Your day-to-day activities:
  • Coordinate and supervise the work of the Events team, which works as an in-house agency.
  • Be responsible for budget. 
  • Manage our participation in third party events and our own events end-to-end. Some of these events will be coordinated in a fully remote way.
  • Travel frequently to different event sites. 
  • Work fluently with our design and content teams on branding and written/audiovisual content (e.g. stands, banners, websites, invites)
  • Research for and manage the relationship with vendors and providers.  
  • Build long-term relationship with our customers so they can become speakers at events to promote their leadership, and therefore our brand.  Proactively reach out to them with speaking opportunities. 
  • Have a fluent communication with our Research team to generate leads before events and manage leads obtained at the event.
  • Collaborate with other managers and directors to create an agenda of contents and activities for our own conferences and seminars


About you:
  • Experienced in events management, able to handle the process end-to-end.
  • Leader, keen on working with a junior team, giving them support and making them grow. 
  • With solid negotiation skills to work on vendor fees, contracts, customer participation, etc. 
  • Willing to travel frequently.
  • Able to handle budgets.
  • Great communicator. 
  • Bilingual in English. 
  • Eager to learn about HR and the software industry.
