Translations Analyst

As a leader in our business, Avature has customers and users all over the world. This means both that our platform and customer-related documentation must be translated to the languages we support. 

Our translations analysts are part of the team that makes sure that our outsourced translations are ready on time, with the quality of a world-class product. They also help expand Avature’s internalization process—available in 32 languages already, we still have many to go.

Your challenges and objectives
  • Gain knowledge of our platform’s functionality and development cycle to provide answers to our translators’ queries and keep track of invoiced jobs.
  • Master our in-house built translation tools, and understand how to autonomously send in new translations using Linux. 

Your day-to-day activities
  • Invoice outsourced translation work.
  • Coordinate the translation of the user interface, also creating and uploading language files as part of our development cycle. 
  • Coordinate translations for diverse customer-facing teams. 
  • Be point of contact for agencies and translators for questions regarding the content that is translated.
  • Help revise translations into Spanish.

About you
  • Detail-oriented and organized.
  • Tech-savvy and a quick learner.
  • Capable of prioritizing effectively within a fast-paced work environment. 
  • With excellent communication skills, to be able to communicate with different audiences. 
  • Proficient in English. Knowledge or proficiency in other languages is a plus.
