System Administrator

As a SaaS enterprise, a robust infrastructure is key to provide our customers with a reliable and highly performant product and our System Administrators are fundamental in making that possible. As a part of the Core Infrastructure team, you’ll work with hardware and software components to keep a sophisticated system used by global market leaders up and running.

Your challenges:
  • Understand Avature’s infrastructure and processes
  • Take ownership of our internal and external hosting needs and assure their security and availability
  • Propose initiatives to improve our infrastructure

Your day-to-day activities:
  • Work on internal requests, such as infrastructure systems maintenance and service tasks
  • Manage customer requests passed on by our customer-facing teams
  • Troubleshoot infrastructure incidents
  • Monitor, analyze, and solve security issues

About you:
  • Extensive hardware knowledge (storage, memory, raid configuration, virtualization)
  • Excellent troubleshooting skills
  • Organized, self-sufficient, and able to work autonomously
  • Linux administration knowledge
  • Client-server architecture and basic networking knowledge
  • Openstack knowledge
  • Understanding of cloud computing technologies such as Azure or AWS is a plus
  • Experience working in data centers is a plus
